Vauxhall Frontera EV for £121.70/Month — Deal of the Day

A brand new electric SUV for under £125 a month. No, we haven't had a funny turn — the Vauxhall Frontera EV is genuinely available on personal contract hire for £121.70 per month including VAT. That makes it one of the cheapest EV leases we've seen in the UK this year, and for a car that's actually practical enough to use as your daily driver.

The Deal Breakdown

Car Vauxhall Frontera EV 83kW GS 44kWh
Monthly Payment £121.70/month inc VAT
Contract Length 24 months
Annual Mileage 5,000 miles
Initial Payment £1,460.40 inc VAT (12x monthly)
Admin Fee £360 inc VAT
Type Personal Contract Hire (PCH)
Source Lease4Less

Why This Deal Works

The Frontera EV is Vauxhall's answer to the question nobody asked but everyone needed answering: can you get a brand new electric car for the same monthly cost as a gym membership? Apparently, yes. The 44kWh battery won't set any range records — expect around 180 miles on a good day — but for a second car, a school-run warrior, or anyone doing mostly urban driving, it's more than enough.

At £121.70 a month, the total cost over 24 months works out at £4,259.50 (initial rental plus 23 monthly payments, before the admin fee). That's genuinely less than most people spend on petrol over the same period. The GS trim gets you the essentials without feeling stripped out — you're not slumming it.

The catch? The 5,000-mile annual allowance is tight. That's roughly 100 miles a week. If you're doing a 30-mile round commute five days a week, you're already at 7,800 miles a year and you'll get stung with excess mileage charges. Know your numbers before you sign.

The Fine Print

This is a personal contract hire deal, so you never own the car — you hand it back after 24 months. The initial payment of £1,460.40 is 12 times the monthly rental, which is standard. There's a £360 admin fee on top payable at order. As with all lease deals, you'll need to return it in reasonable condition or face end-of-contract charges. Deals like this change fast — if you're interested, don't sit on it.
